Antique ebony edged box in highly figured burr walnut having a
Bramah type lock and a sprung drawer of dovetail construction
fitted for jewelry and a lift out tray. The drawer is held in place by a
brass pin driven through the facing. In the top section there is a
lift-out compartmentalized tray. In the lid there is a document wallet.
Circa 1860.
