Antique Single compartment Partridge Wood Tea Caddy Circa 1790

Partridge wood single compartment tea caddy strung with boxwood and opening to a lidded tea compartment. The top is canted to the front and back. The interior lid is of maple. Both the inside of the lid and the inside of the caddy retain 
a lot of the original lining.  

Origin: UK;  Circa: 1790; Materials: .

Size:  11.6 cm wide by 10 cm by 12.1 cm:  4.6 inches wide by  3.9 inches by  4.8  inches.
