Antique, 19th Century brass edged box in figured rosewood by T. Briggs of 27 Piccadilly, London, with working  lock,  having a velvet and paper  lined interior, a lift out tray, embossed leather document wallet in lid, circa 1830.

Origin: UK, T Briggs, manufacturer, London;  Circa: 1830; Materials: rosewood and brass.

Size: 26.5 cm wide by 20.2 cm by 13 cm:  10.4 inches wide by 8  inches by  5.1 inches.

Condition: good overall; working lock and key; see images
