Description:
A
box veneered in beautifully figured walnut. Although simple, the
box’s understated quality is evident in the workmanship.
There is
a rounded edge formed by an inserted edging which provides strength,
as well as softness of form.
Condition:
The brass escutcheon is a later repair.
Size
9.8”x4.9”, 3.3” tall. 25cmx12.5cm, 8.5 tall.
