A  high quality figured walnut   box with a spring released drawer fitted for jewelry .

Origin: United Kingdom

Circa: 1860

Materials: figured walnut on a mahogany structure.

Size: 12" by 8.6" by 6.5":  35cm by 23cm by 19.8cm. 

Condition: good overall;  some veneer cracking as is usual which can be seen when closely looked at: see photos.

The figure of the walnut is exceptional. 

 

The edge of the jewelry drawer is framed with gold embossing.
