The doors open to reveal 3 drawers. The top is blind and is the front of the  top compartment which has been relined with velvet. The middle two are for nickknacks and jewelry.

Detail of the turned and carved feet. These are similar to another  slightly later Table cabinet:  Hygra: Antique Monumental fully fitted Coromandel  Table Cabinet Circa 1850.

There are similarities such as the feet and fielded door panels which make me believe that both are from the same workshop.

Detail of the top: the architectural shape is emphasized by the turned gadrooning and the cavetto molding.

The mother of pearl inlay contrasts with the rich dark of the rosewood. Although the motif has total control of technique it has the fluidity of the natural flowers it depicts. It is a time consuming job inlaying such elements to this fineness.

Here it is pictured with an earlier cabinet with rosewood. There are similarities such as the feet and fielded door panels which make me believe that both are from the same workshop.
