Description: An impressive large table snuff box with a spectacular piqué heraldic depiction of an eagle. His head and legs are engraved, his feathers are executed in fine silver lines and his collar of trefoils in gold lines. Could be a family emblem, part of a family crest. 

Origin: Europe

Circa: 1700

Materials: Tortoiseshell

Size: 4.2"across. 10.5cm.

Condition: slight cracks and clouding when closely examined.
